Speaker: Patricia M. Wilkey is the worldwide GM for Microsoft Azure & Chief Cloud Strategist.

Ms. Wilkey is responsible for creating emerging solutions for the cloud. She is responsible for strategy, operations, portfolio & alliances. Ms. Wilkey is instrumental in launching new services and leading new opportunities for the business enterprise market on a global basis.

Since joining DXC in 1991, Ms. Wilkey has held various positions including Global Cloud Evangelist, Vice President of Global Communications Industry Group and CFO. She became Chief Financial Officer of EDS’ wholly owned wireless subsidiary, EDS Personal Communications Corp. in 1995. While CFO revenue increased at a CAGR of 28% and expanded into more than 15 new markets. In 1997, Ms. Wilkey was named unit controller of global wireless communications, media and entertainment. She joined EDS’ Communications, Entertainment and Media Global Industry Group in 1999 as GM generating $2 billion in annual revenues, she was key in establishing new mobile ventures and overseeing megadeals. Ms. Wilkey was also instrumental in establishing a wireless clearinghouse joint venture Cleartech in Brazil. From 2005-2010 Ms. Wilkey drove the growth and product management of a $9 billion end user service in over 80 countries.

Ms. Wilkey established the global strategy and sales enablement to drive private, virtual private and public clouds services generating over $3 billion in revenues annually today.

Before joining DXC, Ms. Wilkey worked in the financial industry. She was a member of the CFO organization supporting the Trust Division and Information Services Group of the Bank of New England in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Wilkey led a telecom cost reduction study that resulted in $2 million savings. Ms. Wilkey is a frequent guest speaker at various communication trade events. She is a member of Women’s Leader Network, past member International Engineering consortium and the Hispanic Employee Organization. Ms. Wilkey is on the Board of Commonwealth Ballet of Acton Massachusetts and a past Trustee for the Board of Nazareth college of Rochester. She has guest appeared on CNBC News and is co-author of Business Driven Information Technology, Answers to 100 Critical Questions for Every Manager.

Ms. Wilkey received a bachelor of science degree in business administration and Spanish from Nazareth College of Rochester, New York. Ms. Wilkey completed executive product management studies from Cornell University, The Johnson School. She also attended the American Institute of Spanish Studies in Valencia, Spain, and the Universite de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France.

Speaker: Richard Noble is Chief Technologist for DXC’s Azure Solutions Practice.

Richard has over thirty years’ experience in Enterprise IT in a variety of roles from Software Engineering, Operations Management and Enterprise Applications, to Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy.
Richard achieved a PhD in astronomical image processing and worked as a post-doctoral researcher before holding positions of increasing seniority for multi- national corporations, including BP, Glaxo SmithKline and SAB Miller.

Richard joined EDS in 2006, as a Chief Architect and then Chief Technologist for several large customer accounts before taking the role of Chief Technologist for Azure Solutions when DXC was formed. Richard lives near Cambridge, England and has four grown children. His hobbies include Hiking, Skiing and Astrophotography.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is by invitation-only. The location will be released to all attendees once your registration has been confirmed. 

What is the dress code?

We recommend business attire. Most attendees wear suits or comparable attire. Ties are optional.

Can I bring a colleague with me?

Yes! We always urge our members to refer their colleagues! We love adding new members to the community, especially if they come highly recommended by a current member. Either have them reach out to your Apex POC or have them fill out the Member Registration Form.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

No problem! Please let your Apex POC know as soon as possible in order for us to work with the venue on providing alternate options for you at the event.

What if I want to speak at an assembly?

Apex is always looking for speakers that can contribute their valuable insight. If you would like to speak, please contact your Apex POC or fill out the Speaker Registration Form on the Assemblies page. Please keep in mind that we receive many inquiries for speaking and sessions are available on a first come first served basis. But no need to worry, we have plenty of opportunities available at future assemblies.

I plan on being in attendance, but what if something comes up and I have to cancel?

We understand that something may come up on your calendar! Before canceling with us, please know that we will have a separate room for attendees to step out for work-related activities (meetings, emails, conference calls, etc.). If you must cancel, we just ask that you let us know at least 48 hours in advance so that we can open up the waitlist for another member.
